SICK UK to show products working in harmony to deliver smart digital solutions at Smart Factory Expo 2024

Birmingham, UK, 31st May 2024 - SICK UK is appearing at this year’s Smart Factory Expo 2024 (Stand: 4-R31) to showcase how its solutions can work together to enhance manufacturing operations and support digital transformation projects.

The sensor, safety and machine vision specialist’s booth will feature a series of demonstrations of the practical application of SICK products working in harmony to deliver smart digital solutions for manufacturing. These include the use of various SICK devices (such as load detection, line guidance, height measurement, safety laser scanners and barcode readers) to enhance the safety and performance of AGVs, the vertical integration of SICK smart encoders and sensors, and a demo of SICKs smart compressed air monitoring system used to detect leaks and inefficiencies in compressed air systems.

Immediately after the show, SICK UK will be launching a campaign to promote its unique SICK Augmented Reality Assistant (SARA), which merges data visualisation and error analysis from any source with the real world and delivers it directly to portable devices such as mobile phones and tablets.
