TSC Simulation, a leader in 3D simulation solutions, is excited to announce its participation in the Smart Factory Expo at the NEC (National Exhibition Centre) Birmingham 5-6 June, in collaboration with UKRI (UK Research and Innovation). This event marks a significant step towards advancing the future of manufacturing.

TSC Simulation has over 40 years of history in the provision of operator training simulators for the process industry including Oil and Gas, Energy, Food & Drink, Pharmaceutical and Nuclear sectors. Specialising in high fidelity mathematical modelling of process dynamics, linking models to faithful replicas of control systems logic and user interfaces.

Following an Innovate UK funded Industry 4.0 project 2019-2021, TSC has continually developed its capabilities for Smart Manufacturing – using laser scanning and photogrammetry to build full digital twins of manufacturing sites and linking these to high fidelity mathematical models of the site processes. These can be used for operations optimisation as well as training and works planning tools for operations and engineering personnel.

TSC Simulation's Showcase: The Steel Digitisation Project

Visitors can expect to see how bespoke 3D services can enhance efficiency and productivity within various industrial settings. This project aimed to digitise steel production to improve efficiency through improved operator competence and process optimisation. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the digital twin of a steel plant model, highlighting realistic scenarios that demonstrate the future of steel manufacturing.
