Sustainability drives innovation, boosts efficiency, and creates value for the long-term. Eco design is an important tool for sustainability and is not only applicable to manufactured products but also to the manufacturing system itself. 

In this session we will look at how eco efficiency approaches can improve the sustainability of manufacturing processes. We will also consider how a future industrial system could be sustainable by design.
