Gareth Knopp is Innovation and Simulation Manager at Bucher Municipal, where he leads the development of AI-enabled systems that are transforming industrial equipment from static machines into adaptive, data-driven systems. With over 20 years’ experience across automotive, aerospace and industrial sectors, Gareth specialises in combining simulation, data and real-world operation to extend manufacturing value beyond the factory. His work focuses on how equipment can sense, adapt and continuously improve in the field, delivering measurable outcomes in efficiency, emissions reduction and operational consistency. He has led the development of multiple patented technologies and is currently sponsoring a PhD programme with Brunel University London focused on advanced simulation and AI-driven modelling.
