Michelle Lau

Michelle Lau is the Managing Director France at Alibaba.com. In this role, she is responsible for driving initiatives that enable SMEs to source internationally and optimize their procurement processes. Her work centers on the practical application of Alibaba.com’s end-to-end digital infrastructure—spanning product ideation, supplier verification, sourcing execution, cross-border payments, and logistics—as well as the adoption of the agentic AI platform Accio Work to streamline workflows, cut costs, and drive scalable business growth with proactive intelligence. With a decade of experience at Alibaba Group, Michelle joined the organization in 2016 and later served as Co-Managing Director of Alibaba Group France between 2022 and 2023. Her background includes leading strategic partnerships and business development initiatives aimed at connecting European and Chinese digital commerce ecosystems. She focuses on helping businesses leverage AI innovations and global supplier networks to build more resilient, transparent supply chains.
