I’m a business leader with a strong track record of leading business transformation, strategic growth, and operational improvement. With an MBA from Warwick Business School and full P&L responsibility across multiple businesses, I’ve delivered results through a pragmatic, hands-on approach, whether turning around underperforming operations, integrating acquisitions, or building high-performing teams. I believe in leading with fairness, clarity, and a bias for action. I’m known for my no-nonsense style, commercial sharpness, and determination to see things through. I enjoy working with teams to cut through complexity, get to the heart of a problem, and move forward, without drama, but with focus and purpose. Over the years, I’ve developed and implemented strategies that have materially improved revenue and profitability in a variety of businesses, while fostering cultures that people enjoy being part of. I’m a critical thinker who values constructive challenge and believes good leadership is about accountability, not ego. My experience also spans a range of governance models. I report to the chair of a shareholding company in my current role and have previously served as chair and vice-chair of the British Fluid Power Association board. Earlier in my career, I worked in a listed, family-owned business alongside external directors and an independent chair, giving me a well-rounded view of how effective boards operate.
